Beth’s Favorite Savings Hack
My favorite way to save money is to travel in the off-season with last-minute travel deals. Planning my trips that way has led to some really fun weekend trips at off-the-radar destinations. I often pay way less than I normally would, which opens some space in the budget to eat at unique restaurants and visit local sites (because, let’s be honest — most of my trips revolve around food and quirky museums).

Expedia makes traveling super easy, especially with the last-minute deals I love. I can book a trip for my whole family, and get a hotel, flights, and a rental in one place (or pick each one up piecemeal, which usually gets me a better deal). It’s really convenient, and I also always count on Expedia to help me put together a great itinerary.

I have a collection of rare plants I’ve been gathering and cultivating since 2019. Since I’ve started, I’ve picked up around 150 plants with no intention of pruning my collection anytime soon (though I will prune the plants themselves).
